ENERGY AND INDUSTRY

These discussions delve into crucial topics massive renewable energy deployment, energy efficient, innovation in high-emission sectors (steel, cement, aluminium), harnessing hydrogen’s potential, and decarbonizating oil and gas through methane abatement and carbon management technologies

JUST TRANSITION

The deliberations also address universal energy access and the needs of workers across the energy sector transition, with an additional special focus on cooling as a critical mitigation and adaption factor.

INDIGENOUS PEOPLES

Indigenous Peoples’ Day recognizes the vital intergenerational wisdom, practices and leadership in climate action and the planetary health of indigenous society. It also focuses on their access to funds strengthening their role and reinforcing the urgency of a fully inclusive, all-of approach - in the just transitions
